Autumn is a very fulfilling time to shop or go foraging for delicious locally grown fruit, vegetables and fungi. The farm shops and farmers markets will be piled high with pumpkins, squashes, leeks and parsnips - ideal for transforming into warming soups and adding to hearty casseroles. Head to the hills for some fun fungi foraging, there's plenty about and then hit the hedgerows for the scrumptious late season blackberries.
