Carys Cakes
Carys Cakes provides a wide selection of Homemade Cakes, Pastries & Fruit Pies for local shops, cafes and direct to the public. We also provide beautiful Handmade Wedding Cakes, Birthday Cakes & Other Celebration Cake, including delicious and exquisitely decorated cupcakes.
We are regular attenders of Craven Arms and Bishops Castle Farmers Markets where we also supply food & drink for "on the spot" consumption, jncluding hot freshly cooked welshcakes.
Carys cakes at The Maltings is a traditional Tearoom on the High St in Clun, next to the Sun Public House. We are open for breakfast from 7am and from 10 am until 7.30 pm for coffee, light lunches & Afternoon Tea. Our varied selection of cakes and scones are all homemade and use locally produced ingredients, wherever possible.
Our Cakes include a number of regional recipes, such as Shropshire Lambing Cake, Bara Brith and Welsh Cakes and other more "seasonal" offerings such as Beetroot Cake, Spicy Plum Cake, Rhubarb & Ginger Muffins, Oaty Blackcurrant & Gooseberry Tartlets. We also have Gluten free and Sugar-free options.
