Household Energy Service
By taking simple energy saving measures, households, businesses and farms can quite easily cut energy use by 15%, but why stop there when a little wise investment can lead to long lasting energy savings of 30% or more? The Household Energy Service (HES) offers FREE energy saving guidance (though donations are always appreciated).
An initial energy survey provided on a friend to friend, neighbour to neighbour basis, begins your journey.Carbon footprint and household energy report arising from the survey and compiled by a core of qualified energy officers at HES gives you relevant recommendations for energy saving. Ongoing support and technical advice (if and when you need it) plus up to date grant info etc etc helps you get the job done.
HES are joint winners in the national Big Green Challenge (see their website or www.nesta.org.uk).
HES offer Business Energy Surveys in partnership with Marches Energy Agency and Stretton Climate Care and Farm Energy Surveys in partnership with the AONB.
