Estate grown and bottled from 25 acres of vines, Halfpenny Green wines are highly individual and typically English, elegant, delicate with fresh clean flavours.
The range includes six white wine, a rose, a red and a white and pink sparkling. Vines were first planted at Halfpenny Green in 1983 by Martin Vickers on land his family have farmed traditionally for three generations.
The vines are growing on gentle south west facing slopes in view of the Severn Valley. The soil is sandy over sandstone rock which warms very quickly in the spring and summer creating an ideal climate to ripen grapes.
Martin's son is the winemaker and his wife Lisa runs the Tea Rooms. All the estate-bottled wines are available from our shop. These can be purchased as gifts packed in attractive boxes, or can have personalised labels if required. Discounts apply for trade or case purchases - please contact the shop directly or go to the Online Sales pages to purchase on-line.
